5/8-11" diameter, vertical stainless steel rod.
It is glued into the concrete parapet
at the roof of Seismology Building
at the campus of Complex Magnetic-Ionospheri
Station (CMIS).
This is a single-storey brick building 8x4 m
in the map view, 2.6 meters high.
The basement of the building is made up of
reinforced concrete pylons. The walls are
0.5 meter thick. The roof is the prefabricated
reinforced concrete slab.
The rod is driven into the parapet to a depth
of 165 mm; its top end is 38 mm above
the surface of the parapet.
Vertical datum
of the rod. Antenna is attached to the rod
with the UNAVCO compact leveling mount.
The antenna and choke ring assembly are
protected with the SCIGN hemispherical dome</geo:notes>
